Senior Bookkeeper/Office Manager

Summary

Torque Classic Cars is a small locally owned and operated vintage auto restoration shop in West Palm Beach.  The Senior Accountant/Office Manager is responsible for accounting and financial reporting, as well as supporting the Torque Classic Cars operations department with business administration. 

Essential Functions

  • Act as business knowledgeable advisor for all accounting/bookkeeping matters to the COO.
  • Bookkeeping, including billing, accounts receivable, collections, cash applications, accounts payable, etc.
  • Maintain the general ledger, including setting up GL accounts.
  • Financial Statement Preparation.
  • Sales Tax Reporting. 
  • Implement and maintain inventory management system.
  • Forcasting.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and company policies.
  • Perform other accounting and operational duties/projects as requested by the COO.

Required Competencies and Experience

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Quickbooks experience a must.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Professionalism, Integrity and Ethics.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • 3+ years Accounting or Bookkeeping experience.
